The memory I have in Laurelton is when I was in Kindergarten right here at PS 156. It was just a normal fun Friday in Mrs.Goldsmith’s class. My classmates and I were cleaning up. While I was cleaning, I started to slide under desks and chairs to pick up the small toys. During the cleaning time, I stopped and thought for a moment, giving myself the nickname “Slick and Quick.” The only other person that knew of that nickname was my cousin because I told her. Although nobody cared at the time, this moment was still special to me and I hope you all feel the same too.
