My favorite memory in Laurelton is when I was in the STEAM program last year. The memory took place in P.S. 156 in Queens. The people who were involved in my memory are Ms. James, Mrs. Hargrove, and the news team members. This program happened in 2016 when I was 8 years old. The memory is special because it was the first time I was part of a news team. Another fun moment that I had was when the news team walked to where kids were painting a mural. First, we interviewed the adults and the kids that were painting. My group produced a story about the Peace Ambassadors. We interviewed Khalil and Anieah. Interviewing was fun. We also got to see the murals. That is why this Laurelton memory is so special to me.
