What’s your favorite restaurant in the city Laurelton? The Chinese food restaurant on 226th street? The Deli & Grill on 228th? Jerk Hut on 233rd street or even Golden Krust? Well, my favorite restaurant in Laurelton is Jamaica Breeze. Jamaica Breeze is located on Merrick Boulevard. As you go down Merrick, it’s bright orange sign is hard to miss. And their food? Well it’s unforgettable. Their food ranges from their jerk chicken to their curry and stew chicken, to their rice and peas, macaroni to their candied yams and collared greens. But, my absolute favorite is their jerk chicken and macaroni. The jerk chicken is tender and has just enough spice, and then their macaroni has just enough cheese and the perfect amount of crust. I go there on a one to two-week basis.
I mostly have positive things to say about Jamaica Breeze, but, like anything else, with the good comes the bad. The only downside about going to a buffet-styled restaurant like Jamaica Breeze is the food sometimes sits out for a while so it isn’t too fresh. In conclusion, I have positive things to say about my favorite restaurant in Laurelton, Jamaica Breeze!
