Students from The Linden SDA school are all about community development and glamour. Under the direction of STEAM for Social Change, operated by DIVAS for Social Justice, the students along with NYC’s Compost Program hosted by Queens Botanical Garden, and contribution made possible by The Home Depot, made some improvement at the mosaic mural site on 225th in Laurelton, Queens. The students’ mission is to beautify the area once occupied by waste and weeds with daffodils expected to blossom in spring 2020.
