A positive memory I had in Laurelton is I got to be an Assistant Teacher in my classroom. The memory took place in my school, P.S132.  My friend, Kanisha was an Assistant Teachers too and we would  say whatever the teacher would write. I was eight years old when this happened. This memory is special for me because my teacher told me to be the Assistant Teacher because I am a good role model. I felt happy and so glad because  I am a good helper. I was also happy because I love helping people and I can share my knowledge. My teacher was there, but her voice was low, because she was sick.   She asked if I could  be an Assistant Teacher because I speak loud and clear. We had to say “Five Fingers” so that they would pay attention and they would understand the lesson we were  teaching. This is my favorite memory in Laurelton!
