My favorite memories in Laurelton are about how my Grandma takes me to different events around the neighborhood. My Grandma is a part of the Laurelton Lions Club. The Laurelton Lions Cub is a community group and any time they have stuff that can involve kids like me and my brother ,my Grandma always takes us. Since all we do is play on our tablets and since we do not go outside a lot she decided to take us with her and we enjoyed it so much . For Black History Month and there was something going on so she asked our mom if we could go, and she said yes. Since our after school caregiver Ms. Lulu was going we were going to meet her and I thought it was going to be about Martin Luther King Jr. and Rosa Parks but they spoke of people I never knew about. There was a story of a boy who wondered what it would be like in the world if there were no black people.
