Linden SDA students cleaned the weeds and removed trash in order to plant their daffodils.

Operation Clean-Up shows people that we care about how it looks in our community. It is always nice to have a clean community. There were passers-by who said “Oh, you guys are doing a good job,”  and “Thank you for cleaning up our community.” I think we inspired them to help out their community and put all the effort to keep it clean. I think Operation Clean-up can inspire friends, families and schools to come together and clean up our world and not just our community. We also have to think about our world because it is getting very messy.

It is important to live in a clean community because people will think,”oh they really care about their community.” I think people should start caring because I know that I was not interested in cleaning up my community but when I went out and started cleaning up and interviewing my friends, I thought it was very fun and now I feel like cleaning up other communities. I live in Rosedale and I see that it is not clean. So I think I should invite my friends over one night and we can pull together and clean up. This is something kids and adults should try. But I would love to go out and clean up other people’s community.
