At the young age of 7, I was curious about everyone and everything. One year, the church had gone to AY(Adventist Youth) camp. My mom allowed my brother and I to tag along. Even though nature and I aren’t close friends, I was very excited to go. We would be in a cabin for the weekend and it sounded fun! Every day, the kids would go to a hill by the cabins and play on it. I had become fascinated with the white and yellow flowers. They are called Dandelions. While a curious kid, I was also a weird kid. I was someone that adults would tell others to look up to; But, at the same time, I was someone you had to keep a close eye on. While at the hill, it wasn’t the adults who watched us, but teenagers. The adults would talk about grown-up things and sometimes listened to sermons. I had the brilliant idea to eat the pretty flower once no one was paying attention. I had picked the flowers before so no one wondered what I was doing. I didn’t want anyone suspicious. I turned my back to everyone and put the flower in my mouth. In fear of dying, I immediately spit it out and ran to tell my friends. We laughed about it and that’s a memory I will never forget.
